Teaser, highlight film, full ceremony: what is the difference?
A wedding is not summed up by a single film. Depending on the package, you receive several formats, each with its own use. Here is what they are for.
The teaser: to share right away
A clip of about a minute, edited to be shared quickly with family and friends, often on social media. It is the first emotion you receive after the day.
The highlight film: the story of your day
Between four and twelve minutes depending on the package, it tells the day as a story: the waiting, the glances, the vows, the laughter, the night falling. It is the film you will watch most often.
The full ceremony
The complete ceremony, start to finish, with the sound of the vows. It matters most to relatives who could not attend and to you, years later.
Speeches and reception
A separate film gathering the speeches, the laughter and the first dances. Sound is essential here, hence the value of a microphone recording.
The same-night edit
A short edit ready during the reception, to relive the day that same evening. This option depends on the package.
How to choose
If you want the essentials, a teaser and a highlight film are enough. If the ceremony matters a lot or relatives follow remotely, add it in full. For a day rich in speeches, the separate film is worth it.
